Should people take special precautions with dental care?

Many medications used to treat congestive heart failure (or other heart conditions) may cause dry mouth (dry mouth) or taste disturbance (taste change).
If the patient does not have complications or side effects, there is usually no particular concern for dental treatment for patients receiving congestive heart failure.
Patients with severe heart failure should consider dental treatment in hospital clinics. They should not lie too long in the dental chair because the fluid that they have accumulated in their lungs may affect breathing. When moving from a standing position to a chair and standing from a chair, it is also recommended to walk slowly because dizziness may be easy.
