KAVO announced the launch of the ELECTROMATIC series of electric systems designed to make it easier for dentists to switch to electric handsets. Electromatic has constant torque, controlled speed, quiet operation and versatility.
Electromatic motor systems provide constant speed and torque to accurately prepare at a determined speed. The speed on the control system display can be adjusted for various indications. In combination with Kavo's electric handsets, Kavo's electric systems provide stable 2 to 200,000 rpm speed control for efficient and accurate work. Electromatic also has an intuitive user interface. Its simple design and clear image indications are designed to make electronic switches switch without pressure.
Electromatic, Electromatic Plus and Electromatic Premium are available in three different options:
Electromatic is designed for clinicians entering the world of electric dental handpieces. This simple system can control the speed through the foot switch, similar to a pneumatic high-speed dental handpiece. This is paired with the Comfortdrive 200XDR high-speed handset, which now has an increased speed range for some low-speed applications.
Electromatic Plus is designed for all high speed and low speed applications. It has all the advantages of a programmable speed setting of Electromatic. An easy-to-read LCD display and various mounting options provide visibility and access to adjust motor speed settings.
Electromatic Premium is an all-in-one dental equipment with a color touch screen, intuitive operation and integrated built-in features. The device can provide one or two motors to increase workflow efficiency, so you can switch from high speed to low speed without changing the accessories. Pre-programmed file systems make it easy to plan or customize your endodontic treatment program.
To simplify the installation process, Kavo allows dentists to upgrade their existing delivery units within minutes. The plug and play system is connected to a standard air duct and automatically adjusts to the air pressure of the existing dental treatment table. Manufacturers also adapt to ergonomic considerations: Electromatic systems can be installed in multiple locations for optimal integration with processing units.
"We know that switching to Kavo appliances will help dentists increase their efficiency, provide better patient care, and increase their confidence in handling complex cases," said Adam Hoffman, senior marketing manager at Kavo Kerr. "The Kavo electric system combines the most advanced handsets, lightweight motors and the new Electromatic control system to provide the best electric solutions for your practice."
