What Are Wisdom Teeth?

Wisdom teeth are third molars. Usually people have three permanent molars in each quadrant of the mouth; up, down, left, and right. The first molar is usually in the long entrance around the age of six. The second molar grows to about 12 years old. The third molar is usually raised around 17 to 21 years old. Since this is considered to be an era in which people become more intelligent, the third tooth has gained the nickname of “Smart tooth”. In fact, they are no different from any other teeth, except that they are the last spurted teeth or grow into the mouth. If they grow properly, have a proper occlusal relationship and are surrounded by healthy gingival tissue, they are as useful as other teeth. Unfortunately, this does not always happen.
