What are some combinations I should avoid taking?

Even the most common herbal and vitamin supplements can have serious side effects on some patients. Blood thinners, such as the popular Ginkgo biloba, and even vitamin E are dangerous when taking aspirin, and aspirin can also be used as a blood thinner. Because this may result in some patients having difficulty in blood coagulation, serious surgical procedures should be avoided after taking such a combination of supplements.

Vitamins can also be dangerous if you are not careful. When taken at a few kilograms, vitamin C can cause problems and impair anesthetic efficiency. On the other hand, if you are taking sedative supplements such as kava kava or St. John's wort, this can enhance the anesthetic effect given to you by the dentist and cause problems.
