Periodontal disease is on the rise as nearly 40% of all patients I have had mild to moderate periodontitis. The REPAIR protocol is a minimally invasive solution that gives me a wide range of flexibility and access to address the growing clinical challenges that go beyond what I and patients expect. While we are working on failed implants, we are using a specialized technique that only BIOLASE has access to the technique known as flank firing. This innovation has changed the treatment of inflammation around the implant. It has a unique design that allows us to sterilize the failed implant threads without releasing the flap. We are removing 98% of the biofilm, which is the killer of failed implants.
