This process can take up to nine months to complete. Each patient's treatment is different, so the time will be different. Placement of implants and posts after surgery may require up to 6 months for healing and no more than two months for tooth replacement. Sometimes, if the patient's bone is healthy, a post can be placed and a replacement tooth installed on a date.
