Few medical conditions prevent dental implants. In fact, the bones in the missing tooth are actually strengthened and held by placing implants. For example, common osteoporosis (osteoporosis) in the elderly does not prevent us from placing the implant in the mouth. Age is usually not a factor either. We've implanted implants at the age of 16 and implants of the nineties!
