Ask your family doctor or local pharmacist.
If you are moving, your current dentist may make suggestions.
Call or write your local or state Dental Institute. Your local and state dental associations can also be listed in the phone book under "Dentists" or "Associations." The ADA provides a list of local and state dental associations on its website.
Before you choose someone you think can establish a good long-term relationship with you, visit more than one dentist.
