Bleeding after tooth extraction is very common. The surgery can be stopped after a few minutes, and bleeding will begin again after a few hours. It may also bleed on the next day. Therefore, it is not uncommon for you to have a bit of blood in your mouth when you wake up the next morning.
It is important to place the cotton yarn in the wisdom tooth area and bite it to apply pressure. If you have blood in your mouth, don't vomit, but let it flow out of your mouth. Due to spitting, oral suction may cause the blood cloth to fall off and make you more bleeding.
Better than cotton yarn, you can bite with a wet tea bag. Tea contains tannic acid, which can reduce bleeding. Do not smoke for at least 3 days after extraction to prevent painful complications such as dry litters.
If the bleeding is consistent and appears like a water valve, call your dentist immediately.
