How long does the numbing last after a dentist appointment?

Local anesthesia is a solution of the area (teeth, gums, etc.) that the anesthesia dentist must treat. The solution may contain epinephrine (epinephrine) or no adrenaline. Epinephrine is added to the anesthetic solution to increase the anesthetic effect.
Anesthesia with epinephrine is commonly used, and the numbness effect lasts 2 to 4 hours. This situation rarely lasts long, although in some cases the numbness effect lasts for several days.
Adrenaline-free anesthesia is used for patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, or allergy to adrenaline. The numbness effect is therefore shorter and lasts for about an hour.
