Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are the last teeth that grow behind the mouth. The General Dental College (AGD) is an ordinary dentist organization dedicated to continuing education. Common misconceptions include the origin of the name, the cause of removal, and the source of pain.
"The wisdom tooth name is related to age - the third tooth decays only after adolescence, when people are theoretically more sensible to the world," AGD spokesman DDS, FAGD said.
