In general, the brush head should be small (1 "by 1/2") for ease of use. It should have a long and wide handle for a firm grip and a soft round nylon hair. Some brushes are too worn and may wear off the teeth. Soft, round, multi-tufted brush effectively cleans teeth. Press firmly enough to reach the space between the teeth as well as the surface. Not recommended for use in the hard brush.
