Why should I floss?

Dental floss removes plaque and debris from the gingiva that stick between the teeth and the teeth, polishing the surface of the teeth and controlling the bad breath. By using dental floss to clean the teeth daily, there is an increased chance of maintaining the life of the teeth and reducing the chances of periodontal (gum) disease and tooth decay.

Floss is the most important weapon on plaque and may be more important than a toothbrush. Toothbrush to clean the top and sides of your teeth. Flossing between them. Some people use water sign, but floss is the best choice. Many people simply do not spend enough time flossing and many never dental floss. When you visit your dentist or hygienist, ask for the show.
