It is important to continue conducting regular dental exams so that dentists can check for signs of disease or cancer in oral tissues. As you grow older, your mouth will change as your denture shrinks or shrinks. To maintain proper accommodation, the denture may need to be adjusted or the denture may be reconstructed. Do not adjust dentures yourself, nor prolonged use of denture adhesives as this can lead to bone loss. If in doubt, consult your dentist.
