Visit the national dental organization's website, such as the ADA and the Dental Academy (AGD) (see Resources for the URL at the end of the article). ADA is the nation's largest dental association representing 157,000 dentists. AGD is the second largest dental organization with more than 38,000 general dentists. Members of these reputable professional organizations adhere to a high standard of ethics and keep abreast of the latest dental advances.
Contact the state and local Dental Association. ADA has contact information on their website. If you are moving to a different city or state, this website and the AGD website are also great places to find a dentist. In addition, ask your current dentist for advice.
