Your dentist will put a small mask on your nose, sometimes called the clown's nose, which will let you breathe through your nose. You can't fall asleep and talk to your dentist and answer questions.
Laughing gas usually takes a few minutes to take effect, and once the mask is removed, the effect fades away. Once the gas stops, you'll get about five minutes of oxygen to help you avoid headaches. Oxygen also helps to remove the gas completely after the effect is gone. Your program is complete!
