Healthy dental habit?

Good nutrition will greatly affect your overall health, as well as healthy teeth and gums. Eating a balanced diet will provide important nutrients and minerals to your gums and teeth, all of which are needed to stay strong and prevent gum disease. In addition, hard, fibrous foods (such as fruits and vegetables) help clean your teeth and tissues. Soft, sticky foods can be found in the teeth and between the teeth, resulting in more plaque.
Every time when you eat food and drinks containing sugar or starch, plaque bacteria will produce acid, the acid is for 20 minutes or longer period of time of your teeth. To reduce the damage to enamel, limit the number of snacks and drinks between meals. Also, when you snack, choose nutritious foods such as cheese, unprocessed vegetables, plain yogurt, and fruit.
