ALWAYS lubricate the handpiece before use, step on the foot pedal for 8 – 10 seconds to make sure the lubricant goes all through the handpiece.
ALWAYS use alcohol to clean the handpiece. NEVER use any chemicals or chlorine. NEVER put it in a ultrasonic cleaner.
Make sure you lubricate the handpiece BEFORE you autoclave it at 275 degrees for 15 min. NEVER autoclave the low speed handpiece with the prophy angle on it.
The low speed handpiece operates at 30 – 32 PSI running from a crawl to 5500 RPM.
When you screw the low speed onto the tubing from the dental station there is no gap like you will see on the highspeed handpiece.
NEVER run the low speed without a prophy angle on it . You will damage the chuck.
If Prophy Angle gets stuck on low speed, spray Once A Day in bottom of prophy angle to help prevent it from happening again. NEVER use a defective / worn out prophy angle, as you could ruin the expensive low speed handpiece.
