Most dentists have dental tools they no longer use, such as broken points, intense lenses, etc. So far, I have never asked for tools that have been used, and I have never been asked to pay for it - and anyway, these tools are worthless to them. However, there is no reason to buy dental tools. Arts and crafts stores, hobby shops, hardware stores sell a lot of tools, these tools are all good. Bending of carpet knife, screwdriver and punch, modelling tools, wood and ceramic tools have their advantages and blades, they are useful in almost any rock, there is likely to be.
For the hardest rock, you can use an exchangeable replacement point and rock chisel to use a hard point.
