It's probably the duty cycle.
The working cycle is how long the machine runs in 10 minutes, without heating or cooling.
In this case, the machine can run 50 percent of the working cycle for five minutes.
The harder you push the machine, the less likely it will be to run in 10 minutes.
In a lower setting, your machine can have a 100% working cycle or running time.
Cheap machines will have lower tax rates. Even better, the professional use of welding machines usually has a high working cycle level.
