Hobart made a good 110-volt welder. You can buy it on a tractor supply or online. Miller and Lincoln were also good. You can buy Lincoln at home depot and lowe's. Hot arc is a very good one. Stay away from real cheap ones like Chicago electric you/he will be disappointed. I've been with hobart for 20 years, no problems, no repairs.
