Welding procedure must meet the requirements of welding process. They specify what to use electrode/line, electrode material and size, welding seam in what position, what temperature preheating or heat treatment after welding, the welding position polairty, wire feed speed, welding machine, current, voltage, base metal materials, its thickness, type of shielding gas and the mixture, gas flow rate, etc. The welding machine needs this information to do cocnsistent welding quality.
