Hi, I went to the dentist's today. Today they used this set of equipment. It's like a little laser pointer, or something they use to touch the tooth, and it has a different tone for every tooth. Sound is like eeeee errrrrr.
I think I saw this at the dental school, and I'm sure it was used to test the nerves of the teeth to make sure they were alive. It sends electrical pulses to the nerve to check.
